Objective:
An opening sequence for the Discovery Science Channel, that highlights the friction between two juxtaposed elements, making a point through discomfort.
it’s Everywhere!
This sequence is an opening to the Discovery Science Channel.
Even when we think that the food is clean and high-end, there are still possibilities of it containing microplastics. Through this sequence, we aim to make the audience question what is in all their foods and everything we consume in our bodies.
The idea that there are microplastics everywhere, including in foods we eat is represented by the process of a chef preparing a fine dining Omakase sushi that has plastics in it. In the end, the sushi is eaten by a customer, unaware that the rest of the food also contains micro-plastics in them as well.
